b1s1 is on the driver side very close to the exhaust manifold. b1s2 should be right before the cat and b1s3 should be right after on that same side

its not a fool proof system on the newer cars but you really have to know what you are doing. the old cars i can do it in the engine bay with a single piece of wire and a means of jumping the relay or solenoid. i did it on a friends car years ago to…

could be a temp sensor issue giving the wrong reading for the current conditions.

i will assume one thing, you drive at a high rate of speed on the free way. if this is true, then this is very normal. if not , then i am at a loss.

squeaking belts are fun, could be the belt or what ever it is turning on, either a pulley (load) or an idler(just routs the belt really). with the engine running, take a can of WD40(with the little straw in place, great for aiming) point at indi…

it should be a direct fit. make sure that you discharge the electrical systems after disconnecting the battery. this will diminish the chance of damaging the new one on installation.

the best thing would be to look up the stall speed test and run that one to see if it fails high or low or dead on in the range. if it stalls high, the converter fails, low, the engine can not develop the power. dead on, you are just fine.

well, i hate to give you bad news but that engine is burning allot of oil. you could have bad rings, valve stem seals or the pcv valve could be stuck open or unable to seal in th closed position. i tis time for a pcv valve and a cylinder leak down …
