an oscar will be perfectly fine in a 55, i actually use my 55 to house my juvenile oscars. I am getting a 160 gallon tank to hold 4 oscars that now are only 3" long in a 55 gallon...they live with 2 2" jack dempseys and a 4" pike cic…
