• It's fine. I'm running a 1.0 GHz PIII with 1.5 GBs of RAM and a 256 MB video card with a surround sound audio card. It runs on Xubuntu and is very fast. I would suggest RAM and a good Video card and your computer should be good for a few years.

• You can do it at churches, ymca's, or somewhere similar... they make you do petty work they don't want to do because they get payed and you don't.
