Cryptography programs?
I'm looking for a computer program (preferably free but we do have a small budget) that can encode text into an encrypted form using various historical (classical) ciphers.
I'm running a day program for gifted teens and we're doing a couple of activities with cryptography and I'm going to try putting together some encrypted messages using some classical ciphers and seeing if they can decode them.
While instructions are available for many classical ciphers online, I would prefer to do this by computer program because it will allow me to rapidly generate many codes and it will be an activity that can be done easily by others in the program who want to run this activity later.
Update:I'm not looking for software to encrypt computers or files.

There are many internet sites available which can encipher (and decipher) a range of classical ciphers. These cipher types provide a range of difficulty from the simple Caesar and Railfence to the slightly more complex Vigenere, Beaufort, Columnar Transposition etc. Example sites are:

Best of luck with your program.

I've seen many simulators for classic ciphers, usually online and for free, but not all in one program.
