Do you consider modeling as a real job?

my friend has a contract with an agency, but its not such a biggie, because shes not modeling for anyone that important.

she says she will stop modeling at like 35 and move in with her parents. she is 13 right now. do you think this is a fail of a life plan?

Update:

i know you get paid for it ! but you cant do it after a ceratin age. nd she wants to move in with her parents...

  • yes modeling is a real job since you get payed for it :)

  • She's 13. Yes, it is a real job and can be quite lucrative for some people, and they do need older models at times. I doubt that when she/if she has to retire from modeling, she will still feel like moving in with her parents. That is just her perspective from being barely a teenager. There are a lot of years between then and now so who knows what she will end up doing, but no, I absolutely do not feel that she is planning a failure of a life, and yes, modeling is a real career, and no, even though it seems glamorous on the outside, it really isn't.

  • yes.because u get paid money
