ford Puma 1.7 gear problem?

Hi..

I have never had a problem with my ford puma in the slightest untill about half an hour ago.

I tried to put the car into reverse and it would not go into any gears! it was solid stuck. After pushing it out, i managed to get it into first and proceed to struggle for the next 2 mins getting it into second. After about a minute if careful 2nd gear driving, it starting working again??! i drive it for another 15 mins. trying ever gear.. reversing, forward etc.. and no problem?!!

Im very confused! any help would be appreciated. Thank You

    it might be the slave cylinder, your clutch might be bad, and could possibly be your shift linkage
