How do criminals who have a families commit crimes?

For example, a criminal may have a wife and children but he doesn't hesitate to kill someone else or their children. Doesn't he/she think that "what if someone else killed my wife or children"?

  • it's all different for each criminal. some do it for their family, some do it for themselves, some just do it for no reason, or some even do it because they enjoy it. it's honestly sick. if you want to find out more though you can try researching murderers documentaries or interviews.

  • That kind of ethic usually isn't in the picture. And if someone is in desperate need of drugs or something, they'll not give a second thought to simply taking what they think they need. You can also readily get people who have worked hard, etc., but gotten screwed by the system -- they then sit there seeing people who don't work or struggle any harder but they have so much more. It can seem perfectly ethical to do a bit of Robin Hood, especially if your own family is having problems... assuming you have a family. (In many instances, there's actually a background with family breakdowns.)

  • Apparently the psychopath brain doesn't feel any sympathy for any person or thing. Their "families" are usually just used for financial reasons or as a smoke screen to make them look like normal citizens.

  • Its usually about personal problems and issues. but sometimes they might rob or kill someone for money for their OWN family. but the reason they do that is usually becoz they have some sort of personal issue or some mental problem
