Which do guys prefer?
Do guys like girly girls that are really into fashion and makeup or girls that are kinda tomboyish that arent into fashion and makeup but are really funny and chill?
i know it depends on the guy but generally which do guys like better?

I think generally, most guys are more in the type of girl you mentioned first (girly girls).
However, being a guy myself, I find this very sad and I should point out that there are also exceptions.
Personally, I'm much more into the secondly mentioned type of girls. Why? There are two reasons. First of all, I never quite understood what's so cool about being into fashion. I don't like materialistic people and fashionable people tend to be very materialistic. I don't care too much about clothes. I have enough money that I could dress fashionably if I wanted to but I don't. I think it's stupid to go crazy over clothes and perhaps even define your own identity over what you wear and what not. I have the same attitude towards cars for example. I don't need a Porsche to feel good about myself. In fact, I belittle people who do. In the same way, I don't need to buy brand clothes to prove anything to anyone or to feel more handsome. I am very consumer-critical. When I hear of women owning 50 pairs of shoes, I don't just think it's silly, I think of it as an incredible ignorance and decadence towards the majority of people on this planet. Half the world's people, that's 3 billions, live in poverty unimaginable to us. Their poverty is directly related to our wealth. Wealth is power and with our wealth, we make sure that the inequality on this planet can't and won't change. These people are poor because we don't let them be rich. And I find it gross to think of woman buying their 50th, or even the 15th pair of shoes and at the same time, a child dieing of malnutrition. In short: I am a strong opponent of uncritical materialism and consumerism and unfortunately, both these things often manifest in people who go all bananas about fashion. And secondly, I don't like girly girls particular because I've made bad experiences with them. I like smart girls. I think that's the most important feature for me. I like them to be chill and fun but most of all, they need to be smart. They should be interested in the things and events around them, they should care about informing themselves and they should have their own opinions. Unfortunately, all too often, these things are not the case for girly, fashionable girls. In my experience, these girly girls didn't just care a whole lot about fashion and make up and fashionable people (stars) etc., but it was also pretty much the only thing they could talk about. And yes, if I can't have a cool conversation with a girl about politics or society or art or history or whatever, if I feel like I have dumb myself down to talk to a girl, then that's very, very unerotic.
Me personally, I seem to be attracted to girls who are into fashion. I dunno why, I suppose they are generally more flirtatious. But to be honest, I generally go for a girl with beautiful blue eyes and a fun personality. I'm dating someone without even previously knowing her style.
