Material Blessing, I doubt it. Jesus said about money: "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and unto God what is God's".
But as for the present ethos, it appears "In God We Trust" has evolved from a motto into a label. In other words, for our society (and many of its preachers) -- money IS God.
These are the words of Christ pertaining to what prosperity is.....
And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke Ch 12
The extreme riches of Abraham were signs and pledges of spiritual things. The old testament is a shadow of truer, more spiritual prosperity to come through Christ. Most of the ways El Shaddai (The Almighty God...Christ) dealt with things in old testament times were related to the temporal and physical. This is because of the hardheadedness of the people then towards truly spiritual teachings. Everything had to be tied to something they could see, touch etc. Every temporal lesson, image, picture or archetype was a pointer to true spiritual knowledge. Prosperity for Abraham came through His faith and obedience to El Shaddai. And these reasons also secure spiritual prosperity and blessings through Christ now. But the them of the physical has not only been dropped as it was, but it has been renewed in its reciprocal. To be content with little or nothing is the blessing that Paul speaks of. To give of yourself and your temporal sustenance is now called for because God will supply all your NEED. If you seek God and His righteousness, you have no need for anything other than what is needed and only to the point of sufficiency, not excess. The prayer goes like this....Lord grant me enough that I would not steal and dishonour you, but not so much that I would forget you.
The blessing through Christ is wealth beyond imagining...but it is where your heart is, in heaven. And it is obtained through ignoring what the world is after (material prosperity) and indeed surrendering it to the work of God. And so this gains spiritual prosperity and the need is automatically provided.

It is everything but Biblical. The New Testament never promises prosperity, on the contrary, it says that Christians will suffer hardships and persecutions in this world. The blessings promised have nothing to do with material prosperity.
'The gospel of prosperity’ is a popular theme today. Believers are told that they will be rich and healthy if they contribute generously to their church. As for morals, God is often presented as tolerant. A sociologist says: “American churches are therapeutic, not judgmental.” Popular religions usually focus on self-help tips for success in life.
Prosperity theology (also known as prosperity doctrine, health and wealth, prosperity gospel) is a religious belief centered around the notion that God provides material prosperity for those he favors.[1] It implies both that people who are favored by God will be materially successful, and also that materially successful people are successful because God favored them. The prosperity gospel is often used by its promoters to elicit donations, on the premise that donations will be materially repaid and rewarded via divine intervention.
Is it Biblical?
It's not in harmony with Jesus' teachings to keep our lives simple. (Matthew 6:22, 23) Having a simple eye means keeping our life uncomplicated. This means that a person focuses on a single purpose—the doing of God’s will. If our eye is properly focused, we will not be obsessed with chasing after a high-paying job and a more elaborate lifestyle. Neither will we get caught up in the never-ending quest for the latest and best material things that advertisers would have us believe we need in order to be happy. How can you maintain a simple eye? Avoid burdening yourself with unnecessary debt. Do not clutter your life with possessions that consume inordinate amounts of time and attention. It's wiser to heed the Bible’s counsel to be content with “sustenance and covering.” (1 Timothy 6:8) than to put your hopes in the gospel of prosperity.
It's also not in harmony with what God tells us at Micah 6:8, that we should walk humbly or modestly with God

Ga3:14 is referring to a spiritual blessing:
Through Habakkuk God stated: “As for the righteous one, by his faithfulness he will keep living.” (Habakkuk 2:4) We are sure if we fix that deeply in mind and heart. It is one of the Bible’s central truths. Paul pointed to that scripture three times in his inspired writings. (Romans 1:16, 17; Galatians 3:11, 14; Hebrews 10:38) This truth calls on us to exercise faith in the sacrifice that Jesus Christ offered for our sins. Jesus explained: “God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might . . . have everlasting life.” We also read: “He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life.” (John 3:16, 36)
I think they are talking about spiritual things.. Jesus said the poor people will see find the kingdom of God..
