How do you use percentages as a Bank Teller?
Okay so I dont understand how percentages work for a Teller please explain?
so if i have $80 with 30%
is 30 DIVIDED BY 80 THAT WOULD BE
0.30 AND THEN
0.30 X 80 WOULD BE 24
SO WOULD IT BE ....
80+24=104
OR am i totally confused please let me know & explain thanks

Do you mean you want to add 80 plus 30 percent of 80?
Yes, the way you have done it is correct. Or just do the multiplication: 80 x 1.30.
(It's not 30 divided by 80. It's 30 divided by 100.)
You haven't even asked a proper question. That is why you are confused.
You want to know what 30% of $80 is? That's 0.3 X 80
You want to add 30% more to $80? That's $80 + ($80 X 0.3)
A percent is how much out of 100....30% = 30/100.
80/100*30
