How to shade normal eyeglasses?
I have no clue why i got this pair of glasses. They are very large and bulky, like for an old man. I was wondering if i could dye / shade then to be black or gray, while still being able to see through it. They would look like aviators if i could, which would be amazing! Im not going to wear them if i cannot shade them. Please help! Thanks, in advance!

There's a site called Replacement Lens Express that does loads of custom work for eyeglasses and sunglasses. They can take your existing lenses and tint them a solid color for $12, or a gradient (darker on top, fading to lighter on the bottom) for $15. They also do cool things like mirror finishes and add Swarovski rhinestones. They are a small place in Connecticut with a website, so they are easy to talk to and do really high quality work. They can help you revamp your ugly frames - might even be able to sell you some new ones at a good price too, cause I think they sell frames too.I had luck emailing them asking for help - [email protected] - they were quick to reply
They should be able to take the lenses out, put them in the tinting solution, then re-instal. Not sure if all lens materials can be done this way, at worst, you might need new lenses.
The only way I know of that your glasses can be tinted is to have them ground that way. You can have your glasses ground again with your prescription using tinted lenses or ask your dispenser if matching sunglass clip-ons can be added
Yes
You can get them tinted most any color most any optical store.
You can even get mirror coating applied.
Yes. U can. Go ahead.it will look great.
