The website is electronics88810.com I can't find any information about the website anywhere on the internet. Please tell me if this website is legitimate.
Usually shopping websites that have a bunch of numbers at the end of the name is a scam. But a product that is retailed at close to a thousand dollars and they're selling it for $60. Just doesn't make any sense. It's a scam. Beware of websites like this.
A 3 day old site registered to a fake address and non-existent phone and fax number? There is NO way this is legit
How do people find these sites to begin with? There are no cheap electronics. You never buy from any site unless it's in your country, has a verifiable address and landline number, and is listed as an authorised retailer on the manufacturer's own website
So if you are looking for Apple products, ONLY buy from those listed as retailers on Apple's website. If you are looking for a Dell, then ONLY buy from retailers listed on Dell's website. etc
Remember if it sounds too good to be true, it's going to be a scam
I purchased a playstation 3 from them for $27. It took 3 weeks for my package to arrive. However, I received a 1884 CC Morgan silver dollar instead. From what I have been able to find out about the coin it is worth more than what I paid, but it isn't what I bought. I paid them using Paypal which has buyer's credit. So I can file a claim with them.
I never give out my credit card information to an incoming caller... If I were to receive this call I would thank the caller hang up and call the credit card company they mentioned directly... It's a pretty simple and easy way to protect your credit... If you are unsure of the number of your credit card company speak with your bank they have all the appropriate numbers and are very happy to give them to you if asked...
