2002 BMW 325i A/C Problem?
(1) Well one day I decided to buy a double-din aftermarket radio for my car because I wanted Bluetooth. I looked on amazon because they have the, "fits your vehicle feature", on the website. So I figured out what I wanted, went to Brandsmart, bought the radio, and found out that it was too big for the area the radio fits into.
(2) So there's this plastic material cover that was barely blocking the way of the radio, I decide to cut it like an idiot. I cut it, took it apart, and fit the radio in. The radio doesn't work but I'll save that for another post.
(3) Even after I tore the plastic part apart the a/c vent still blowed just through the radio area. Then after a week it just stopped, i'm guessing the plastic piece was just a guide to the vents. Either way I'd love to know what's the plastic cover that's behind the radio and if it had something to do with the a/c problem. My Father says I might've unplugged something by accident. Please help me.
Update:Forgot to update. I fixed the problem two months after this was posted. Turns out what I cut didn’t hurt or damage anything. Not enough detail was provided or pictures so I can understand the vague responses.

You can't be helped much this way.
Now that you've done serious damage,
you need professional help that won't be cheap.
Only you know what it is you did, if you'll concentrate and think about it. Go to the salvage yard and find a replacement duct. You can probably reform it with application of a little heat. The radio doesn't work- never worked or worked and then quit? You won't get much help leaving out so much detail. Now, you have the whole weekend to do the job over right. Make sure you understand where each wire connects for what it should do. Check your fuses, just to cover that base.
Don't know what the hell you were cutting off but now you have damaged your vehicle. My friend also has a BMW except though he has a newer model the 2015 BMW X5.
Wireless music is NOT the way to go for building a quality system. Get yourself a 3.5mm AUX.
sorry, but no one can help you w/o seeing the vehicle 1st.............you may have cut into the ducting for the AC or ???
