Seeing and watching barcodes, it's interesting. I want to know How does the barcode know or recognizes your items?

for example, If I own a store and I ordered some stuff into the store. I want to use a barcode. But how is it suppose to know and recognize my Items I just ordered? is there something that suppose to let me program my Item's labeled barcode into the computer or what?

  • Place the Scanner near Black Strips - it will automatically read the strips like a optical scanner for more details see you tube videos.

  • A barcode uses a series of black, vertical lines that vary in width and repetition. Each type of line (skinny- thick) has a number assigned to it... The laser on the barcode reader can see these different vertical lines and then can identity the number assigned to it. Most POS (point of sale) programs can allow you to scan these barcodes and manually enter the info for it. I don't know if there are any programs that find the info automatically.

  • You need software to make the system work. You will give an item a part number and the software will see that barcode as that part number. I can explain more if you call.
