Remote control problem?
I have three TV. Two are hdmi tv and one is a older version fat tv. All are brand of Sony and are working fine. One of the tv is located one in the living room, one in my room, and the other is in my folks room. However the hdmi tv in my room is not recieving any signal from my remote control. All the tv can be turned navigated by using the sony remote control. However, just today I can't use the remote control to navigate the tv in my room anymore. My tv is still able to run flawlessly but it can not be use by the remote. The other two tv can still be use by the remote controls. So what is wrong here? why can't my tv be use with the remote control?

There are two things that I can think of other than the obvious remote problems that the first two answerer's touched on. The first is the remote receiver sensor in your tv has died. I've seen it numerous times, be it's still very rare. The second it the remote receiver sensor is blinded. The things I've seen that blind sensors are: sun light, high efficiency light bulbs, a plama that shines on the sensor, neon lights, and something blocking the window.
1) Is something blocking the remote sensor on your TV?
2) Change your remote batteries.
3) Do you have three known good remotes?
a) Check if one of the other sony remotes will navigate your TV.
b) Will your remote, navigate a working TV?
the batteries in the remote may be dead so take them out and put new ones in. If this doesn't do anything call Sony.

or idk if its on there "code search" a guide would have came with the remote and the spacific tv type you have and the code for that remote to your tv hope this helps!
