Pre algebra is normal for 8th grade because everyone learns at different speeds it doesn't mean your not smart,t its just a different level in math.

Some 8th graders take pre-algebra, but I take Algebra 1 because I'm in the advanced class.
in my school pre ap algebra is higher then regular 8th grade math and they learn more complex things
and get more homework but my mom says it was fun and that I will like it so I bet you will too good luck
