[10-2i-5i+i^2]/[4-i^2] x 1/3
[10-7i+1]/[5] x 1/3
(11-7i)/(15) is the answer
You would be right if you were multiplying them, but there's a division sign in there.
(5-i) / (6+3i)
Multiply the whole thing by (6-3i) / (6-3i).
(5-i)(6-3i) / 45
FOIL the left.
(27-21i) / 45
Distribute the 45.
