Daisy 880 or 901...............................?

people say they have about the same power and accuracy. so why does the 901 cost more is it better made

  • As near as I can tell, the basic difference is that the 901 has a better (polymer) stock and uses the forearm as the pump rather than a lever. The 880 has a plastic stock that does break without a lot of effort. My son's broke off where the stock meets the receiver, so now it looks a bit like the Mare's Leg from the Rifleman TV show. Looks interesting, but not very useful for accurate shooting.
