Describe your astral travels please?

Update:

LOL! I love the skeptical, they stay out of the way.

  • I had moved my attention to my head. I was there looking to see if I could find the true essence of what I was. It was actually a much larger space than I had imagined. I was having no luck and as I neared the back I realized that it went on for infinity. I stood at the extreme rear of the platform that collected my thoughts and looked out into the void.

It really wasn't a void because it was filled with billions of tiny points of light, some brighter, some dimmer. It was so interesting that I stood transfixed for what may have been a second or a hundred lifetimes. Something, I know not what suggested that I just dive off the platform and trust that I would be fine. This did not seem like sound advice because I could see no bottom but I did it just the same.

In an instant I realized that everything was fine because there was no up nor was there a down to fall into. I found that I only need think or focus on something and I was taken to it at a very great speed. Something a great distance away seemed to be drawing me toward it. As I drew nearer I saw that it was a leaf floating in space rocking back and forth like the leaves often do in the fall when they make their way from the branch to the ground. As I circled around it and then moved over top of it I noticed that the leaf was very dry and curled up around a tiny little light. As I looked at the light I realized that this was what I had been looking for, the true essence of me.

I realized that it was falling toward some sort of a structure floating in the space right beneath it. I watched as the leaf and it’s tiny occupant floated right through a rectangular opening in the center of the roof. Wanting to see what sort of a place this was I circled it a couple of times to look it over. It was huge with brilliant white marble columns on all sides. Pristine, much as the Parthenon might have looked the day that it was completed.

Not wanting to loose track of the leaf, I made my way to the roof and descended through the opening the leaf had disappeared into. It was resting on a marble altar in the center of a large room. The room had three doors. One led back out into the space that I had been exploring, the next to a small garden with lush plantings grass like a soft cushion and a waterfall. Through the third you could see an expansive desert with distant mountain ranges to the left and a city just over the horizon to the right. The only things visible were the tops of the domes and minarets.

Deciding that the mountains looked more interesting I focused my attention on them and was hovering above then in a matter of seconds. Far below I could make out orange robed figures making their way up a steep trail. The very action of looking at them brought me instantly to the trail in front of them. When they looked up and noticed me, the lead climber smiled brought his hands together and bowed slightly as he passed and moved on up the mountain.

I could see that they were headed for a cave opening in the side of the mountain. I realized that this must be where they lived. I had a vision of a damp dark place and wondered why anyone would want to live like that. I followed them and stepped into the cave and to my surprise it was bright, clean, warm and rather inviting. It struck me how unreliable judgments can be without actual knowledge. I looked around for a while said goodbye and left.

From the mouth of the cave I could see that a bit further along the desert and the mountains stopped and a huge ocean began. Again the very act of focusing my attention on it brought me to it almost instantly. The water was a translucent shade of blue that doesn’t even exist in what we refer to as reality. The sand was a brilliant white. I soared along the beach and came to a place where the rocks jutted out into the water a great distance. I followed them out to the very end and landed on the last one. The waves were breaking on the rocks and the water was whipped into a foamy consistency. I watched it for a long time before I noticed that something in the water was watching back. At first I just noticed the eyes, then the head and the body soon followed. It looked like a great serpent with the head of a dragon and a long green metallic scaly body.

Ya won't let me put the rest in. Too long it says. Email is open If you are interested in the conclusion.

  • Those who don't believe, don't achieve. Those who achieve, find each other eventually and only they can understand, no explanation is necessary other than for the sake of conversation and to increase knowledge.

It is best that the skeptical stay out of the way, they are like children playing on the highway.

  • Oh, way to complicated, unless we can talk by thought transferrence, try reading Journeys out of the Body, by Robert Monroe, who founded the Monroe Institute to teach people how to do it, he's good at describing his...

  • I used to drive an Opel Astra. That's about as close as it comes in terms of what one can realistically do. You should consider not reading fiction aimed at the gullible.

Edit 1) It appears that some responding to this have had "out of mind" experiences. lol Those of us based in reality are sure glad you folks are"out of the way" in terms of significance. ;-)
