How do i program my factory remote to my 1996 honda civic?

Ive been told that there is a button you hold on the radio but i have an aftermarket radio so i dont think i have that button.

    When i worked for honda the only way to keep the factory remotes working with an aftermarket radio is to install an aftermarket wire harness that will allow you to keep the factory radio and use an aftermarket radio...you will find the factor radio behind the aftermarket radio...believe it or not pull the aftermarket radio out and you will find it stuffed behind it...I know it sounds crazy but that's where i would find it...Good luck and i hope this was helpful
