Windows 7 damaged registry keyboard problem?
I recently installed libusb on my windows 7 pc but it installed wrong so when I restarted my pc the usb controllers, sound card, network controllers, com ports and lpt port had code 39. I searched the web and found that if I deleted a file called UpperFilter in the registery it would work, I tried it with the usb controllers and it worked so I pluged the mouse and it had the same problem. I deleted the file of mouse class in the registry and so as the keyboard class, but when I restarted, the ps2 keyboard stopped working and so did the usb keyboard I pluged in. I don't have a previous restore point, nor a backup for the registry but I have a hiren's boot cd and a windows 7 disc. Can it be fixed or am I screwed?
