Dawn is good and Lemon Joy is good. Follow up with a those microsoft rags made for polishing glass or 100% cotton glass towels. I buy these at the Dollar Store. Another way is to use the blue shop towels with the product Invisible Glass - this is a more expensive way. If it is shower or bathroom glass you may need to warm water and ammonia up and spray the glass, wipe with a dryer sheet - any brand will do. You can also use Windex and dryer sheets on shower doors.
I always clean my windows with a bucket of hot soapy (like dawn) water and two wash cloths. Dump one in the hot soapy water, scrub the crap out of your window and then dry it off with the other cloth. It really works....in fact I just finished cleaning mine today.
