Olds 350 cam removal?
I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1979 Olds 350. I have everything off and out of the block except the lifters and camshaft. I don't know what is holding them in as I have flipped the block upside down to keep the lifters as far out as possible and the cam still wouldn't come out... please help

you have to take the lifters all the way out, why leave them in?
If they are stuck grab em with pliers and twist and pry em out.
The lifters get mushroomed when they are worn badly and that makes them hard to pull out. If you are replacing the cam you have to replace the lifters anyway.
