This is a pretty straight category flip. By losing Castro you will lose some SB and R, but picking up Cabrera and Young gives you a strong increase in AVG over Fielder and Uggla. Power will pretty much even out between the three players (Gonzalez over Castro makes up the loss from Uggla to Young). You might gain in RBI a little bit though.
If you can afford to give up the SB, and you need an increase in AVG (or if your league is H2H points), then it's a good deal for you. But if giving up SB will hurt you, or you can't make a big gain in AVG over the rest of the season, then it's probably not a deal that will help you a ton.
I would accept this trade. Miguel Cabrera is too good not to, and if you're worried about Prince Fielder being very good right now, history tells us he will cool off as the season comes to a close.
Michael Young is much better than Dan Uggla and Castro for Gonzalez is essentially apples for apples. Castro is good for average and runs, but Gonzalez is good for RBI's and HRs. But by taking on Michael Young and Miguel Cabrera you cover the loss of average so it's fine.
yupp do this up son, miguel for fielder is a push so nothing there......micheal young can play just about EVERY position so he is extremly valuable uggla is having a extremely bad day and i dont see any reason to think it wil;l get better.....he was always a liability anyways as he can only hit the long ball but the average is aloways a killer........do this deal with confidence.......all the best the rest of the way
I would take the trade. When Uggla gets going, he will really help you out in homeruns.Uggla has 30 homerun power. Michael Young has 20-25 home run power
