If somebody has a serious case of pneumonia....?
If somebody has pneumonia, how long would they be able to live without treatment from a doctor? Assuming that the person with pneumonia is a relatively healthy adolescent with no bad medical history [no, I have no plans to experiment!!! It's for a short story I'm writing]. The only form of "treatment" comes in the form of Advil, very cold water, and cold food. Thanks!

not long there are many factors at work, strain of bacteria, general health, lung condition, heart condition, many people still die from it even with treatment
