Need some information, what is the title of gossip girl's 1st book series? is the story exactly the same with the TV series? Thanks

    All I remember of it wat that it was disgustingly shallow, and that every character was a whore and unbelievably materialistic. Sorry.

    I dont think the first book had a witty title like the ones that follow, its been a long time since i read it but its a really good book series. the thing is its nothing like the show, for instance in the series Serena's brother is older, and it follows similar but still different plots.. still its a really good series you should def check it out!
