What did you expect it would do with items you put in it ?
Yahoo automatically empties the Trash folder every day or so---"randomly"---meaning whenever they want---and you CAN NOT change or stop that.
.
The trash is NOT supposed to be used as storage---that's what personal folders are for. (Trash IS FOR trash)
Make one (or more) personal folders and move items to that folder, that you want to keep for a while----cause ANYTHING put into (or left in) the Trash folder WILL be deleted at the discretion of Yahoo
rather of an entire-circle component, evaluate it greater a rely of continuity. The deeper meaning; we consistently carry the previous with us, now would not be now, if there became no then. one component could end for yet another to start.

This isn't an answer. I have multiple accounts and it only occurs with one account.
