Does fast food restaurants e-verify in California?

I am 17 years old. I wanted to know do they do e-verify in california? Like McDonalds, KFC, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, In N Out, etc? If they do what papers do I bring to the,?

  • The only one I can answer for sure is Jack In The Box. As a matter of company policy they do e-verify all new hires.

    The two jobs I'm at now do the same. I had to bring a photo ID and 1 piece of supporting documentation. Your social security card or birth certificate would do for this.

    I wouldn't be too surprised if the other businesses you named also e-verify. It's getting to be very common now and helps to make sure new hires are legal.

  • McDonalds, does not do e-verify, because I know people. that have gotten in with out legal papers, lol, its funny that they claim they do but, in reality they don't, However if you don't have documents, don't try to apply to KFC, Burger King, Wal-Mart, Sam's, Target, and well known store. Also Texas Roadhouse do not do e-verify. These are two of the fast food you can apply to.
