Sertraline side effects?
I've never realised side effects on medication before, but there's been a lot of things different this time. I was on sertraline 100mg, but i stopped taking it for a few months because it wasn't working and made me feel sick when i drunk. I didn't tell the doctor or professionals that. The psychiatrist up'ed it to 150mg and I've been taking it for 4 days.
Last night I had diarrhoea, i've barely eaten because i have no appetite, i've barely slept (no sleep at all 2 nights ago and 3 hours last night), dry mouth, i could not orgasm during sex (this has never happened with my partner before over the past year and a half), I have had very sweaty hands and feet even when i'm very cold and i have been shaking slightly (hands and jaw). These are all in the list of main side effects of sertraline.
Should I keep on taking them and just wait for my body to adjust or should I stop? I'm an 18 year old girl if that makes a difference.
Update:I have also been taking a lot of Hydroxyzine (atarax)

I also was on 100 mg of zoloft, couldn't orgasm either.. Everything was just blahh.. You should consider a different medication. And taper slowly.. I made the mistake of tapering myself, I went to fast and for months after that I had anger problems and was so emotionally unstable.. Realize your brain is semi dependent on this pill, call you psych and ask about changing medications.
