Dress code? My contacts a distraction?
Friday, before my last class, I went to the office to get a bus note to go to a friend's house. The principal saw me and pulled me into his office. I was wearing one white contact lense and one red lense. He told me to not wear them anymore because its a violation of the dress code and a couple people complained.I looked it up in the handbook a day before I wore them to school and it doesn't say anything about contacts. Doesn't it have to be specific to ban something from school? What should I do? I love wearing my contacts...

Tell your mommy.
The school can't possibly think of every bizarre thing that students can come up with to put it in the dress code! I can't believe your parents let you wear white and red contacts - or even that such things exist. The other person is right- it's a halloween costume. Don't be such a dork.
Due to the excessive amount of trolls and douchebaggery here I will be honest.
If it is not in the handbook then you can wear it.
Next time if he bothers you ask him for the dress code in paper and then tell your guidance counselor or your parents.
Each school has their own rules. But come on, really, white and red contacts to school? I would be complaining too, thats something you would wear with a Halloween costume.
