Is a Miata a good car?
Ive been looking at miatas lately and wondering if they are good daily drivers. How do they drive in the rain/snow? I was looking at the late na's 96 and 97. Do you think they would last long? should I be looking at the nb's instead (although I dont want to pay for premium gas)?

I own a 90 Miata and consider them good daily drivers even in the snow- provided you get the right type of tires. So get a spare set of rims- one for winter tires. The Miata as long as it is a non-turbo model runs fine on regular gas. I do admit that when I go to get the most out of it- I will run 90 octane. Those model years are good choices- they have OBD II systems and are easier to trouble shoot. I am getting pretty close to owning my Miata for 20 years (second owner) and the only problems I have had I can fix. Over all very low repair costs- it still has the factory AC, alternator and starter. Well one does- the second one didn't do too well with 12 lbs. boost with 170k on the clock. Should have stayed down around 8 lbs.
Yea they're fun to drive.
