Does TV violence promote violence?
many people believe tv violence has a negative effect on society because it promotes violence.
Do you agree or disagree?
Use 3 specific examples to support your point.
what i have:
it can desensitize you---doctors(surgons) during their first operation they may vomit or pass out, but as they do more they become more desensitzed to it and are able to do it no problem.
it can lead to more agressive responses -- direspect for authority
-- adortion for crime
-- doing it for kicks
It can lead to phobias, fears, nightmares, victumization, trama.
it's all i have so far, im just having trouble putting it into words.
This is just a journal and only has to be short, if anyone can help, that would be great

At an age when children have trouble distinguishing between reality and fantasy, the fact that cartoon characters survive violence with no apparent lasting effects may make them think that no permanent harm is done by it.
Also, villains are usually portrayed as more interesting and colorful than the goody-goodies.
I agree. There are so many shows out there that promote violence like Family Guy and The Simpsons. Also pretty much any movie out there nowdays promotes violence as well. As for disrespecting authority, many shows do that as a joke but kids who have no understanding of what is right and wrong take that seriously which later they end up doing it also.
Well do cookies taste good with milk?
I completely agree. Violence on TV is just like, basically, telling people it's okay. You see other things on Tv that you know a lot of people are doing, and kids want to do it too...to fit in. It's so wrong.
i dont think it does unless someone is dum and kills people after seeing a movie
