Help to write a poem?
I need to write a short poem on women role during world war 2 ( that they should quit their jobs, stay at home, have many children etc.) I really can't think of anything. Please help !

Roles of the women back in World War 2
differ greatly than the ones known by me and you
because they were all told, that there place was in the home
not on the battlefields where all the men did roam.
There were quite a few, who did not listen to,
the ways described and what they were supposed to do.
They worked many hours to help loved ones away
and did whatever they had to, to make it everyday.
They had to support the kids, their mouths they had to feed,
and somehow make it happen when they were in great need.
They all were so much stronger than many are today,
They didn't give up hope, and yet, didn't have much say.
So this is my salute to them, as it is my only intention,
to give them a place in history that they are worth the mention.

The men were off fighting during WW 2 - the women were left - to support their families - and to provide backup - to their fighting men. By 1945, more than 2.2 million women were working in the war industries, building ships, aircraft, vehicles, and weaponry. Women also worked in factories, munitions plants and farms, and also drove trucks, provided logistic support for soldiers and entered professional areas of work that were previously the preserve of men. In the Allied countries thousands of women enlisted as nurses serving on the front lines. Thousands of others joined defensive militias at home, In addition, women volunteers aided the war effort by planting victory gardens, canning produce, selling war bonds, donating blood, salvaging needed commodities and sending care packages.
After the men came home - the women lost their jobs - because the men wanted them back. This pushed many back into the home - in the wife and mother position. But this - only happened AFTER the war
It was certainly not - the job of a WW 2 woman - to stay at home and breed â¥
Women became
what they should always have been
Equal to men in everything.
They were needed to fill the gap
Left by men who went to fight
The women grasped the chance
To get out of the mud
To soar upwards towards the light
And become full human beings
As was their right.
Sadly when the war ended
And the men returned
All their efforts were ground to dust
And spurned.
(But women had thankfully learned
and they fought for a world
That was fair and just)
And won.
Bombs falling,struggle and strife,
military lads loosing there life.
Fighting in world war two, To keep the enemy from me and you,
Mother at home ,, with breaking heart, As she watches her son;s as they depart,
Young brides leaving ,,there carear on hold .
Increase the family tree ,,,they were told , All of them faught so bold ,
for the life the life we have now and hold so bold,
just really think about these few things that you listed in your question..
quitting their jobs
staying at home (for both of those think about chains, entrapment etc..)
having many children ... (you could think about them being a production line.. just as there are production lines for new weapons... women are production lines for children?)
im sure you can think of something if you really try..?
