North Korea and America conflict?
Hey, just a bewildered about what exactly is North Korea mad about?
I don't watch the news, I admit. But I hear something about Nuclear warfare and obviously, that's quite serious. But I'm not sure exactly what the whole story is. As far as I know, North Korea wants to attack America..can someone fill me in why? What's going on

We are allies with South Korea. Technically, North and South Korea have been at war for fifty years. But, they had a treaty a while ago, and no one has done any fighting since then. In the meanwhile, we have enacted trade sanctions against North Korea, since the government there abuses and starves its people (trade sanctions meaning we don't do business with them and discourage others from doing business as well). We also enacted trade sanctions to keep them from trying to take over South Korea, and from developing nuclear weapons. The last leader was a volatile and violent dictator, and we didn't want him creating nuclear weapons and setting them off willy-nilly.
Korea are making threats and if they do attack then the US will literally wipe them off the map they are the strongest nation to fight with and even though people think the Chinese will back them then fine because if Korea start it then the US can say you join us and back us up or you f*** off and all the countries against you will stop trading with them so they lose income and they lose a lot of money they have lent out soon enough there income will drop. The US have the best equipment in the world and even thought they have messed around with Afghanistan they are against a group which are hiding so they can't do anything but with North Korea they can fight them. If there is a war it will probably last days. If North Korea send a bomb towards Washington the US will send more than one back so the North Koreans have no chance it's a bit silly of them to be honest.
