HDMI + PS3 = No signal?
I recently purchased a new TV (an LG HDTV) and encountered an annoyance that didn't occur with my previous HDTV. When I turn on my PS3, then switch over to "HDMI-2" where it is connected, I get a "no signal" message. If I do it in the opposite order (switch to that input and THEN turn on the PS3), or if I unplug the HDMI cable and reconnect it while leaving the PS3 power on, it connects just fine. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a TV issue, not a PS3 issue, but you can always try doing a Video Reset. If the Video Reset doesn't help, then it is either a problem with the HDMI cable, or a problem with the TV.
How to do a Video Reset: With the PS3 in stand by mode (red light on front of the PS3), hold the power button down until you hear two beeps (about 5 seconds). The PS3 will turn on and automatically reset giving you the best settings for the type of TV and cable being used.
The only reason I say it might be a problem with the HDMI cable is becasue I had this same problem when trying to connect my laptop to my TV. Once I changed the HDMI cable, all worked fine.
