How do you find your remote desktop name?

I'd like to know how to find the remote desktop name on a windows and mac computer.

Examples: MyPC, name.microsoft.com, 192.168.2.8

    Its should just be the computer name. For windows right click on my computer and select properties WIN7 will list it on the window that opens, WINXP has a computer name tab.

    If you want all the info open a command prompt and type in ipconfig /all and hit enter.

    Can't help on the MAC, sorry.
