Why do Americans dress so casual?
First of all, I'm not trying to put anyone down. On the rare occasion that my American friends choose to dress up, they usually feel really beautiful and good about themselves, they also get a ton of complements, and they tell me that what they're wearing isn't even uncomfortable. I have a lot of friends that tell me that they want to be more fashionable or on pinterist they will pin cute outfits and talk about how they wish they could dress like that. It is not expensive to get fashion forward clothes because expensive things are fads and but classics that always look good that can be purchased at a thrift store and are cheap. Why don't they dress up when there are so many benefits?

Most Americans are known for their fast-paced life. So they tend to dress in a way that accommodates their fast-paced life. Ex. Sweatpants, tshirt, messy bun, etc.
