If you have already created an avatar and it is not appearing be sure to follow step C̲ completely.
A̲ If you want a C̲a̲r̲t̲o̲o̲n̲ avatar then create or modify one at http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and then go to C̲.
B̲ If you want a P̲h̲o̲t̲o̲ avatar then upload an image to your Pulse Profile at http://pulse.yahoo.com/y . Click on the current photo to get the update options. Select the one you want to use and then go to C̲. NOTE: If you hide your profile the image will not show up on Yahoo! Answers.
C̲ Now go to the Yahoo Answers profile at http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit . Click "update photo or avatar". Be sure to "save" at the bottom of the page.
Go to www.avatars.yahoo.com or else type in avatars on the yahoo search engine.. and the site will come up. Click on it and it will direct you to a page where you start your avatar... Choose female or male and style away.!
