What do you do during the classes? Are there tests? How many classes do you take? How old do you have to be to get a boating license in Australia?

if you need to take a boating license course then they are available through Adelaide nautical college.

you must be 16 years old to get your boaters license but you may qualify for a special boaters permit for boaters between 12 and 15 years old.

testing is part of the process of qualifying for your nautical license.

you can also pick up a boaters license study guide and either study for the test online or just go to a testing site and take the test.
