Do senior grades/AP exams count?

I am curious, if say one applies to a college november, what happens to their grades that they will get senior year? As well as the AP classes, spring sports, and community service that one could do well in that time to impress the college.

Update:

I'm asking during SENIOR YEAR. What if I can get better grades during senior year and AP class results (taking 4 APs) can I still use that to my advantage?

  • The grades count. They may not see them now but, at the end of the year they get your year long transcript and if you let your grades drop after being accepted there is a possibility they will decline you from going to their school. I'm not too sure about community service, I'm sure if its to get hours for a scholarship your guidance councilor or whoever sends out your transcript will do that also.

  • Grades? Yes. They help you get into College. As for AP scores, they are optional if you wish to submit them to colleges. if you did well then you may be omitted from certain classes and placed in advanced courses. And they may make your application look more appeasing. If you didnt do well, then they never have to know.

  • once you prepare, you incorporate each and every thing which you have accomplished and plan to do for the time of your severe college occupation. whilst colleges settle for you, they settle for in step with concept which you will proceed to do what you mentioned you will possibly, and proceed getting the grades you won earlier. they are able to rescind your attractiveness in case you fail spring semester or bomb checks. That being mentioned, why the heck have not you taken the SATs yet???

  • Yes! That looks great on college application!
