Diana was truly amazing during this concert. It must have been difficult because her father had just passed away - she mentioned it at the very end of the show. Diana really did her best to hold back the tears, and being a consumate professional, she made it through and did songs like "What about Love", "More Today Than Yesterday", and she did "My Man"- dedicated to Berry Gordy, who was in the audience.
Towards the end of the show she performed "If We Hold On Together" - dedicated to her kids. She also did "You Can't Hurry Love" and the beautiful "I Love You "at the closing.
Her children (minus Rhonda) and brother Chico all gathered on stage with Diana at the end of the show. A somber Tracee helped carry off the flowers that the fans had given Diana during the concert. Having seen her a few times on this tour, it was good to see that she added several songs for this venue, the only top one she left out was "Love Child".
Diana was great on making eye contact and frequently blew kisses. The author of several of her books, J.Randy Taraborelli was there. This was one of her best performances. The LA crowd was very supportive and loving towards her. This was definitely a night to remember, God bless Diana and her family.
