Well one of my all time favorite funniest moments in Naruto Shippiden is Rock Lee vs Kimimaru. Sorry if that spoils anything. But episodes 123 and 124.

The funniest early Naruto episode was please Mr. Postman. The funniest Shippuden was Mecha Naruto. For all the characters you wanna see, I suggest Rock Lees Springtime of Youth anime.
