Does God reproduce via mitosis?
He has a son, and his son is him. He didn't always have a son, but his son existed as long as he did. Sounds to me like God just split into two Gods like a bacterium or something (which would also explain why bacteria have been massively more successful than any of God's other creatures).

No, because you're confusing the temporal birth of Jesus with the eternally existent Christ that has been co-equal with God the Father since before the creation of the universe. It is much more like a wave-particle duality than mitosis.
