Do you know this bible passage?
I remember hearing a passage from the New Testament a long time ago. It had something to do with Jesus saying people should live the way birds (I believe it was birds) and something else do. We should live with enough means only to get us through one day and not worry about hording or saving for the future. Something about living a simple life. Sorry that this is so vague. I can't really remember it. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please help me!

i don't know that one...
i know: be as shrud as snake and as Innocent as lambs
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matt 6:26
He never said live as birds do, but mentions the above to show us that they(the birds) are taken care of by God, so where is our trust that we ought to have in God. From verse 25-34, Christ describes what you´ve asked about.
Luk 12:27 Give thought to the flowers: they do no work, they make no thread; and still I say to you, Even Solomon, in all his glory, was not clothed like one of these.
Luk 12:28 But if God gives such clothing to the grass in the field, which today is living, and tomorrow will be burned in the oven, how much more will he give clothing to you, O men of little faith?
Luk 12:29 And do not give overmuch thought to your food and drink, and let not your mind be full of doubts.
Luk 12:30 For the nations of the world go in search of all these things: but your Father has knowledge that you have need of them.
Luk 12:31 But let your chief care be for his kingdom, and these other things will be given to you in addition.
Conclusion:
We should not worry about the things in this world, rather we should prepare ourselves for the next life and all things we need here will be provided by God.
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[a]?
