Was Princess Diana's Death A Conspiracy?
10 months before she died, she wrote a letter to Paul Burrel, saying that Prince Charles and/or the British establishment is planning to kill her, in a car accident due to brake failier or serious head injury. And don't you find it interesting how the car they were driving in was stolen two days before the 'accident'?The computer chip was the only thing missing. It was replaced with a different one, and that one could be controlled by a different party.Than in the actual event, Princess Diana's seatbelt was off, actually it wasn't functioning. Was it a comspiracy?

1. The letter you mentioned was written when Diana was frankly in paranoid state of mind. Also, in the letter she actually wrote that both she AND Camilla would be killed so that Charles is able to marry Tiggy (William and Harry's former nanny). Camilla is alive, Charles and Tiggy are married to completely different people.
2. Diana's seatbelt was perfectly functioning, she just didn't wear it. Diana had a long history of not wearing seatbelt.
3. In response to another poster's question about hospital - a) they had to drive slower than usual because Diana's injuries were such that any strong shake might have been fatal b) a hospital further away was chosen because while there were hospitals nearby, they were ill-equipped for the kind of injuries Diana had sustained.
And a couple of other points:
4. Diana's death was a direct result of her not wearing a seatbelt. Now, I'm not sure what's your opinion of our Secret Services, but they aren't that moronic to plan an assassination attempt, success of which depends solely on whether a seatbelt was worn or not. Also, they would hardly try to do anything with a car followed by hordes of photographers.
5. Diana posed no danger for the Royal Family. Even if she had been planning to marry Dodi and have 50 kids with him (and according to those closest to Diana, nothing could be further from truth), so what? It would only serve to diminish Diana's popularity - something the Royal Family surely would have welcomed. All the talk of the future king having Muslim half-brother, well, what about it? Unless William himself converted, it would have nothing to do with the Royal Family.
6. Finally, just remember the circumstances: there were too many last minute changes, initiated by either Dodi, or Diana - no Secret Service in the world would have been able to do anything under the circumstances. In fact, the only one who theoretically could was Mohamed Al-Fayed: Diana and Dodi left from Mohamed Al-Fayed's hotel, in Mohamed Al-Fayed's car driven by Mohamed Al-Fayed's drunk employee, heading for Mohamed Al-Fayed's apartment, following Mohamed Al-Fayed's instructions. Now, I have never thought for a second Mohamed Al-Fayed had anything to do with the tragic accident; but his sense of guilt may explain his obsession with the tragedy and his efforts to find 'someone else' to blame.
It was a tragic accident. Famous people are mortals too.

Dianas seat belt was functioning. NO-ONE in that car was wearing a seat belt. Not even Trevor Rees. She was a paranoid gal, she was lovely - but she was 'intense' - except in the area of safety and security, it seems.
Read the Paget report; it might give you some insight into the REALITIES of the case. Although it's not 100% spot on, it's a tad more factual than some of these far out conspiracy theories that have been doing the rounds FOR THE PAST 14 YEARS.
Car accidents happen!! Particulary when speed booze drugs paps AND FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS are involved.
No I don't think so.The reason is that she should have had a seat belt on, she was in a car driven by a drunk driver and she was being chased by the paparazzi. Those all together make for a bad outcome. If only one of these things had been done she most likely would have lived. And this coming from someone that thinks she was really chased to death by the media. But no, no conspiracy.
No it was tragic accident that was caused by speed and a drunk driver plus the fact that Diana was not wearing seat belt.
too many things hit her at once something not right about it !!! why Diana ?
Listen, we all listened to all this stuff years ago when the wreck first happened. This may all be new news to you....but it is something we are all SO OVER.
No...it was not a conspiracy. Go onto the web....read through every bit of the gajillions of documents that every single person who was interested in this thing did at the time it happened.
We have already heard it, ad nauseum.
Also, a hospital was ten minutes away, all radio communication went dead and security cameras snowcrashed, and a bunch of other oddities. To what end? I'll never know.
*yawn*. Not again! Wasn't this just posted yesterday? And the day before? And the day before that?
Anyone who believes her ex-family is out to sabotage her car, and doesn't wear a seat belt, is pretty lackluster in her claims.
