How do I ask for a raise?
I babysit 2 kids 8 and 9 from 6 in the morning till 8pm occasionally. I drive to their house and spend the day there with the girls. And no I just don't sit down and watch tv, if the girls don't need something I do some cleaning without being ask. They pay me 5 an hour, is this reasonable? They pay me that amount cause I didn't know what to charge but since they asked for me to babysit more now I feel like 5 is not enough for so many hours. I would like to ask for at least the minimum wage of 8 dollars an hour? How do I ask ? Also they are registered nurses in California

yes it is not fair to you. I babysit and get a minimum of 10 dollars an hour. explain that this is your job and since you feel like you do a lot you would like more. especially since your driving-gas is expensive! they will understand
