  • I've never used the site before but it looks safe. For your future reference, here's what I do to check:

Check Address - an address on a site is always a good sign. Dodgy sites normally don't have one. A quick search on google maps allows you to street view this one. It's a residential house with a small props n frocks store sign outside - a good sign (no pun intended).

Payment methods - If your debit or credit card doesn't cover fraud, check for paypal. This site didn't mention which payment methods could be used until the checkout stage, but it had a section for voucher codes - a sign of an established business.

Who Is Search - go to www.who.is and enter the full web address (http and everything). This tells you the site info. Registrant: Adele Wiseman Registrant type: UK Sole Trader. The address matches the one on the website, and sole trader explains why the business is at a residential property.

If you're still in doubt, call the number on the site and ask. As a sole trader, you'll probably end up speaking to Adele herself - she should be able to put your mind at ease.
