reflow a ps3?????????????
what does that mean exactly because i actually tried to fix my ps3 by watching youtube videos and it of course didnt work, but im actually doing alot of research so i know what to do, or even if its worth doing anything or to save up to buy a knew ps3
the first time i thought that all you had to do was clean where the arctic compound was heat up the board for about 15-20 minutes and apply the stuff but now i learning about fluxing a ps3(by the way was does that mean?) and reflow?

Reflow basically means to re-melt the solder on the motherboard so components can be re-attached that may have come loose or disconnected.

Flux is a flowing agent, so fluxing would basically be using a reflow agent.

Unfortunately, reflowing or fluxing doesn't always work and you just may need a new system.

Reflowing is *never* guaranteed. It's only a *possible* solution, done at your own risk. Reflowing in this case probably just made it worse. You should have probably had it looked at before trying something like that. Now you'll have to buy a new PS3 unless you can still somehow salvage it, which I highly doubt -- but if you can, all the luck to ya.
