Obama hasn't accomplished anything worthy of winning the Nobel Peace Prize, it was given to him based on his promises to do the right thing for the United States of America, Home of the brave, Home of the free. So the most charitable thing he can do with that $1.4 million prize money is to pay back some of the American debt he helped create. Charity begins at Home. Yeh, like that's going to happen!
nicely it relies upon what your political leaning is ? in my opinion, Obama did promise or start up somewhat some steps, which if applied might carry peace to greater suitable worldwide. inspite of the indisputable fact that, the end results of those steps have not yet borne fruit, we even dont comprehend if those steps will prevail or failure. So i think of it became somewhat untimely on section Nobel commitee to have presented this prize to Obama. so by technique of this thinking attitude i might say HE did no longer DESERVE Now the different attitude is, only look worldwide, how many human beings or leaders are you able to element out who've achieved something to hold peace to the worldwide. probable no person. So by technique of this attitude Nobel Commitee became out of possibilities & had no person greater proper available to furnish this prize to. Obama might no longer have succeded yet he's atleast attempting. So by technique of this attitude i might say confident AS AN INCENTIVE FOR destiny ITS ok. i might particularly circulate with the 1st one.......
I just don't think hes done enough yet to deserve it. Hes basically attended some meetings, done some inspirational speeches, and so far that's all iv seen. Ill be impressed when the men serving our countries get to return home to their wives and kids, with the promise they wont have to go in 6 months because all hell has broken loose again. Peace to me is state of continuity, not of promise.
He deserves it as much as the most violent hockey goon deserves to win the Lady Bing award.
'...the Lady Byng Trophy, is presented each year to the National Hockey League "player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability".'
i think obama is a very special and caring man poor fellow has not had long enough to deserve the nobel peace prize and he was in shock his self but he took it because he did not want to upset any one what a lovely man
Why do so many people have to drag race into the mix? I think that it is the people that claim racial discrimination that won't let the fact of race be dropped. It is the same thing as reminding a deaf person that they are deaf and will always be deaf and that is how they are defined. To me, this is racism. I am tired of hearing about if this person is black or white or purple or orange. Let the person be known for who they are and drop this racial double standard card.
YES. When you are 50% white and 50% black you have learned to negotiate Peace. Combine that with his intelligence and great common sense and you have the probability of success.
He could take 40,000 homosexuals that are stomping to join the military, and send them to Afghanistan. I might reconsider. So far, it's only been promise of change.
