How can I transfer a sim card to a micro sim?

I have both a sim card and a micro sim. My sim card is active and I want to switch it (my number,etc) to the micro sim I purchased. Is there a way to this? I have T-mobile is it makes a difference. Thank you!

    I'm not sure about this, but last time, an Optus employee just cut my normal SIM card into micro slim

    Yeah just cut it into a smaller piece with only the memory aspect of it, and I can use the old card, which is now smaller, straightaway, weird

    I suggest that you go to your telephone outlet / shop, and ask the employee to help you with it
